Approach and anchoring
Enter from the west through the Canal de l'Île de Batz, a narrow tidal channel between the island and the mainland with strong streams reaching 4 knots at springs. Transit near slack water. Numerous drying rocks marked by beacons on either side of the channel.
Practical
No services on site. Holding variable on account of kelp patches, check the anchor is set. Moll 0.8 NM N and the marina at Roscoff-Bloscon 1.7 NM SE for full services.
Ashore
Coastal footpath GR 34 along the shore to Roscoff town centre about 3 km east, with the 16th century Notre-Dame de Croaz-Batz church and the granite merchant houses of the old port.
