Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Baie de Quiberon side is straightforward in settled weather, but the western shore is exposed to the Atlantic swell. Rock bottom holds poorly and anchoring is forbidden here. Shelter is only given from NW through N to W winds by the land. VHF 16 for any coordination with Saint-Nazaire MRCC.
Practical
No services on site. Nearest refuges are Anse du Pô and Port de Carnac, both 2.8 nm to the NE, where visitors can find pontoons, water and fuel.
Ashore
The beach of Kerhostin and the coastal path GR 34 run along the shore of the Saint-Pierre-Quiberon commune. The village centre with bakery and shops is about 800 m inland. The megalithic alignments of Carnac are 9 km to the NE by road.
