Approach and anchoring

Entrance on the north side of the Cap d'Antibes, open to the Golfe Juan. Maximum draught 1.7 m at the berths: boats up to 10 m only. Six pontoons of 20 to 100 m in length. Port Gallice lies 0.2 nm to the north-west, Port de la Salis 0.8 nm to the north-east on the eastern shore of the cape.

Around 390 to 400 berths on pontoons, managed by the Régie des Ports of Antibes Juan-les-Pins. Fuel berth on site. Certified Port Propre. Harbour office phone 04 93 67 32 31. Shops, restaurants and the beach promenade of Juan-les-Pins at 400 m.

Ashore

Sentier du littoral Tirepoil starts at the port and loops around the Cap d'Antibes for 5 km, reaching the villa Eilenroc and the Phare de la Garoupe at 73 m altitude. Plage du Croûton and Plage des Pêcheurs are adjacent. Antibes old town and the Musée Picasso at the Château Grimaldi at 3 km east.

History

The port was originally a fishermen's inlet used by Antibes fishing crews during the season. In 1984 management passed to the local authority, which rebuilt the pontoons. It holds Port Propre certification for pollution management.
