Guide
Approach and anchoring
Mixed bottom of sand, rock and posidonia, holding uneven. Shelter from NW, N, NE and W sectors, open to the south and east. Drop in 5 to 10 metres on the sandy patches and dive the anchor to confirm it is clear of the weed. Keep clear of the marked mooring buoys used by the surrounding villas.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port du Croûton 1 NM to the north and Port Gallice 1.1 NM to the north-west provide fuel, water and visitor berths.
Ashore
The Sentier du Littoral, also called the sentier de Tire-Poil, runs around the tip of Cap d'Antibes and passes above the cove. The coastal path reaches the Villa Eilenroc gardens and the lighthouse of the Garoupe at 73 metres above sea level, the highest point of the cape.
