Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south with a clear sight of the promenade and the pebble beach. Entrance between two short jetties marked by red and green lights. Maximum draught 1.5 m, so keep clear at low water if deeply laden. The harbour is exposed to easterly swell which can build quickly in onshore winds.
Practical
About 60 berths, mostly for small craft and local fishing boats. Fuel station on site. Water and electricity at the pontoons. Saint-Laurent-du-Var marina lies 0.5 NM east and Marina Baie des Anges 2 NM south-west if a deeper or more sheltered berth is needed.
Ashore
Pebble beach right next to the harbour. Fishermen's quarter of Le Cros with seafood restaurants along the seafront. Hippodrome de la Côte d'Azur 1 km west. Renoir museum at Les Collettes, the painter's former home, around 2 km inland.
