Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south along the Baie des Anges. Entrance between two rubble moles exposed to southerly swell which can make entry difficult in strong sirocco or marin. Maximum draught 1.6 m, small boats only. Saint-Laurent-du-Var marina lies 2.5 nautical miles south-west, Nice Lympia 2.5 nautical miles east, both alternatives in heavy weather.
Practical
Six berths. Very limited services on site. Full provisioning on the Promenade des Anglais and in the Magnan district within walking distance. Tram line 2 towards central Nice stops nearby.
Ashore
Promenade des Anglais seafront path runs east to the Old Town of Nice over 6 km. Nice Côte d'Azur airport immediately west of the port. Plage de Carras pebble beach adjoining the port.
