Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Golfe de la Napoule with the Estérel massif as a backdrop. Entry to the Siagne mouth is marked by port and starboard lateral beacons. Shoaling on either side of the channel, stay in the marks. Maximum draught 1.3 metres, berths therefore for moderate-draught boats. Easterly gusts can build a short sea at the entrance.
Practical
320 berths with water and electricity. Cannes Marina at 0.6 NM W for additional services and fuel. Shops, bakery and supermarket in Mandelieu centre within 400 metres. Train station Mandelieu-la-Napoule at 700 metres on the Nice-Marseille TER line.
Ashore
Château de la Napoule on the headland at 1.5 km south, restored from medieval ruins by American sculptors Henry and Marie Clews between 1919 and 1937, open to visitors with landscaped gardens. Plage du Château sand beach beside the château. Massif de l'Estérel red porphyry coastal trails starting at Théoule-sur-Mer at 3 km SW, connecting to the Corniche d'Or.
