Approach and anchoring
Entry via the marked channel off the main Rhône navigation, downstream of the Bourg-lès-Valence lock. Maximum draught 1.4 m in the basin. Strong current on the river outside the entrance, especially during spring snowmelt.
Practical
420 berths for vessels up to 25 m. Diesel pump on site. Water, electricity, showers, launderette, and haul-out crane. Chandlery and boatyard within the port enclosure. Bus line 2 to Valence centre in about 15 minutes.
Ashore
Parc de l'Épervière, a 14-hectare leisure park, adjoins the port with cycling paths along the ViaRhôna route that runs from Lake Geneva to the Mediterranean. Valence old town and the Maison des Têtes, a Renaissance mansion of 1532, lie 3 km to the north.
