River port of 40 berths on the Marne at Neuilly-sur-Marne, around 15 km east of Paris.

Approach and anchoring
Enter from the Marne navigable channel. The river is class Va downstream and class I upstream of the Joinville lock. Follow the right bank and use the signalled entrance. VNF regulates traffic on the Marne below Meaux. Air draught set by the fixed bridges of the Paris suburbs, around 4 m at normal level. Watch for commercial barges and passenger boats.
Practical
About 40 berths for pleasure craft, water and shore power at the pontoons. Fuel is not sold on site, the nearest supply is downstream at Nogent-sur-Marne. Bakery and small shops within 500 m of the quay. RER A station Neuilly-Plaisance about 1.5 km from the port, direct trains to Paris Nation in 15 minutes.
Ashore
Tow-path of the Marne open to walkers and cyclists, links to the Canal de l'Ourcq within 4 km north. Île des Loups river park downstream on the Marne. Maison de Chateaubriand and Bois de Vincennes reachable by RER in 20 minutes.
History
Neuilly-sur-Marne developed around the Maison de Ville-Evrard psychiatric hospital opened in 1868 and the use of the Marne for barge traffic to Paris. The river here was a working waterway carrying stone and grain into the capital until the mid twentieth century.
