Approach and anchoring
Reached by the Mayenne navigation from Angers. Transit through the Grez-Neuville lock, operated by Voies navigables de France. Air draught limited by river bridges downstream. Current slight in summer, stronger after autumn rainfall.
Practical
Pontoons with water and electricity. Village bakery, grocer and bar-restaurant within 300 metres of the quay. Fuel not available at the port; nearest station in Le Lion-d'Angers, 4 km.
Ashore
Towpath of the Mayenne usable for walking and cycling along both banks. Confluence with the Oudon 400 metres upstream, popular fishing spot. Anjou Navigation operates horse-drawn barge trips from the quay in summer. Le Lion-d'Angers and its national stud farm 4 km by road.
