Approach and anchoring
Reached from the Danvers River, a tidal creek branching off the Porter River inside Salem Sound. The upper river carries little water at low water, so time arrival on a rising tide.
Practical
Thirty deep-water berths plus 70 dry-stack rack spaces, taking boats up to 50 feet. Water and shore power at each berth and work rack. Winter storage, shrink wrapping, fibreglass repair and factory-certified diesel and petrol engine work. Self-serve ice, a grill and picnic area by the office. Working since 1972.
