Approach and anchoring
Beverly Harbour opens off Salem Sound on the Massachusetts north shore. The club lies on the Danvers River side of the harbour, downstream of the Beverly-Salem bridge. Moorings reached by club launch, run seven days a week in season.
Practical
A private club founded in 1896 with around 400 members. Mooring use, launch service and visitor arrangements are handled through the club. Beverly town centre with shops and the commuter rail station is within walking distance.
History
The club was incorporated in 1896 and named for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. Beverly Harbour fitted out the schooner Hannah in 1775, one of the first armed vessels in American service during the Revolution.
