Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south along the red porphyry cliffs of the Esterel massif. Sand bottom, holding generally good once the anchor is set. Shelter from NW, W and SW sectors, exposed to the easterly swell that rolls in from the Gulf of La Napoule. Drop in 5 to 10 metres clear of the rock shelves at the foot of the point.
Practical
No services at the anchorage. Port de la Figueirette lies 0.3 NM to the north and Port La Galère 1.5 NM to the north-east for fuel, water and berths.
Ashore
The Sentier du Littoral runs along the red cliffs from Théoule-sur-Mer to Miramar and passes directly above the point. The coastal path links to the Esterel massif trails climbing towards the Pic du Cap Roux at 452 metres. The village of Miramar has a small grocery and a few restaurants within 400 metres of Port de la Figueirette.
