Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the SE along the Estérel coast. Bottom is sand mixed with Posidonia seagrass, so look for a clear sand patch to avoid damaging the meadow, which is protected under French law. Sheltered from N, NE, E, W and NW, fully exposed from S and SW. Port de la Figueirette lies 0.2 NM to the W as the closest refuge.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services. Come ashore by tender at Port de la Figueirette. Shops, bakery and restaurants in Miramar village. Water, electricity and berths at La Figueirette.
Ashore
The coastal path of the Estérel follows the red porphyry coves between Miramar and Cap Roux. The Pic du Cap Roux, 452 m, is a marked hike inland. Théoule-sur-Mer village lies 3 km by road to the NE.
