Approach and anchoring
Open approach from the west. Sand bottom, good holding. Sheltered from E to SE through S and SW on this segment; exposed to the prevailing W and NW swell of the gulf. Libeccio brings heavy seas and requires leaving the anchorage.
Practical
No mooring infrastructure. Port de Sagone 4,7 NM to the NW for fuel, water and berths. Port Charles Ornano at Ajaccio 6,7 NM to the S for full services.
Ashore
Sandy beach backed by maquis. Tour de Capigliolo, a 16th century Genoese watchtower, stands above the neighbouring Capo di Feno headland.
