Approach and anchoring
Anchorage forbidden on the posted bathing zone. Sand bottom close to shore. The bay gives lee from NW, W and SW airs, with the Quiberon peninsula acting as a breakwater from the prevailing westerlies. For overnighting, use Port-Haliguen 0.2 nm NW or Port-Maria 1.3 nm SW.
Practical
No vessel services at the beach itself. Fresh water tap ashore for swimmers. Port-Haliguen marina at 0.2 nm has around 1 100 berths, diesel, electricity and full chandlery.
