Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from seaward on a southerly heading. Rocky bottom, so drop the hook on sand patches close inshore and check holding. No buoyage. Shelter from NW through N to NE only; exposed to any swell or wind with south in it. Nearest fair-weather refuge is Pornichet marina 2.8 nm to the NW, and the Saint-Nazaire basin 4.2 nm NE.
Practical
Daytime stop only in settled northerly weather. No facilities ashore at the anchorage itself. Village shops and water are reached on foot via the coast path toward Pornichet.
