Approach and anchoring
Enter the Loire estuary via the main buoyed channel and leave it to stand into the anse. Tidal streams run strongly in the fairway, weaker inshore. Exposed to the south and southeast across the estuary. Bassin de Saint-Nazaire lies 2.7 nm NE, Pornichet marina 3.8 nm W.
Practical
Anchor on mud, good holding. No facilities on site. Full services and fuel at Pornichet marina to the west and at Saint-Nazaire to the east.
