Approach from open water off the golfe. Sand and mud bottom, holding correct. Exposed to winds from S and SE. Mind the commercial traffic of the Fos port complex, stay clear of the main shipping lanes. Port Olga lies 2.8 nm SW and Fos-sur-Mer 1.7 nm NE as alternatives.
Practical
Forain anchoring only. No services on the beach. The industrial port of Fos is commercial and not open to pleasure craft.
Ashore
Long sand beach on the Golfe de Fos shoreline. The plage is one of the access points to the Fos dune system. Town of Fos-sur-Mer 4 km by road for shops and reprovisioning.
