Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east across the gulf. Sand bottom with good holding on the clear patches. Protection from SW, W and NW winds. Exposed to the east and to swell from the open gulf, so untenable in easterly weather.
Practical
No services at the anchorage itself. Port de San Peïre Les Issambres lies 0.8 nm to the NE for water, fuel and provisions. Port de Sainte-Maxime sits 2.1 nm to the SW with full marina services.
Ashore
The beach fronts the Issambres seafront road with cafes and small shops within 200 m. Coastal footpath from Les Issambres to San Peïre along the shoreline.
