Approach and anchoring
Approach from the south, avoiding the rocky spur off the eastern headland. Sand bottom, good holding in settled weather. Shelter from N, NE, E, W and NW winds. Exposed to S and SE swell. The beach is inside the Parc national de Port-Cros perimeter: posidonia protection applies, drop on sand patches only.
Practical
Forain mooring, no buoys, no services. Closest refuges at Port Maravenne and Port Miramar, 2.2 NM west.
Ashore
Plage de l'Estagnol, a sand beach bordered by pine forest on private land of the Domaine de l'Estagnol, paid access from shore. Coastal footpath west towards Cabasson and east towards the fort de Brégançon.
