Approach and anchoring
Approach from the east in clear water; no outlying dangers noted on SHOM chart 7096. Shelter from NW, W and SW winds. Fully exposed to easterly breezes and to the libeccio swell that wraps round Punta di a Chiappa.
Practical
Anchor on sand in 3 to 6 m. Porto-Vecchio marina 3 NM west for diesel, water and provisions; Marine Group yard at the same distance for technical assistance.
Ashore
Fine sand beach backed by umbrella pines. The Rondinara and Palombaggia beaches lie within 6 km by road. Porto-Vecchio citadel, built by the Genoese in 1539, is 3 NM to the west.
