Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Strait of Bonifacio, rounding Capo Pertusato to the east then heading north along the coast. Posidonia meadows require careful anchor placement on sand patches to comply with Corsican regulations. Drop in 5 to 8 m.
Practical
No facilities on site. Bonifacio 3.3 NM W offers fuel, water, provisioning and a full-service marina. Santa Manza bay 1 NM NW gives better shelter from SW swell.
Ashore
Coastal path along the limestone cliffs of the Bouches de Bonifacio nature reserve. Citadel of Bonifacio 3 NM by sea, built by the Genoese from the 9th century onwards, with the King of Aragon staircase cut into the cliff.
