Full-service marina on the Manatee Pocket at Stuart, with 50 wet berths for boats up to 90 feet and dry rack storage for craft up to 32 feet.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached through the Manatee Pocket, which opens off the St. Lucie River near the Intracoastal Waterway about 3 nautical miles north of the St. Lucie Inlet. The marked entrance channel carries 7 to 9 feet; the pocket itself shoals to 4 to 6 feet, so a deep-draught vessel should check depths before committing.
Practical
Fuel berth, fresh water and shore power. The resort has 50 waterfront rooms, a heated pool, a tiki bar and a gift shop. The Pirate's Loft restaurant on site serves lunch and dinner overlooking the pocket.
Ashore
The marina sits in the fishing village of Port Salerno. Restaurants and a fish market line the waterfront within walking distance, and the shops of Stuart lie a few miles inland.
