Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor just off the ICW channel close to the cluster of coconut palms marked by a wooden tower on the bayside shore. The mud bottom holds well and the spot is sheltered on all eight points of the compass.
Practical
Loblolly Marina lies 0.3 nm to the SW and Manatee Marina 3.4 nm to the NW. There are no facilities at the anchorage itself.
Ashore
A short tender run east reaches the refuge beach on the Atlantic side, where a path crosses the dune. The Jupiter Island tract of the refuge is among the most productive sea turtle nesting habitat in the United States.
