Approach and anchoring

Lies on the Pennsylvania bank of the mile-wide Delaware River. The river is tidal here, so allow for current when berthing. Pier 5 Marina is 0.1 nautical miles north and Penn's Landing Marina 0.5 nautical miles south.

Practical

About 55 floating berths with finger piers, two of them transient, for boats up to roughly 35 ft, with around 12 ft alongside. There is water, 30 amp shore power, heads and showers open 24 hours, coin laundry, key-code gate access and video surveillance. Daily rate about 2.50 dollars per foot.

Ashore

Old City Philadelphia, with Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, is within a short walk. The Independence Seaport Museum and the waterfront parks at Penn's Landing lie just to the south.
