Guide
Approach and anchoring
Reached by the Crystal River channel, a tidal run of roughly seven miles from the Gulf of Mexico to Kings Bay. Manatee speed zones are marked along the river and enforced through the winter season. Keep to idle speed in the bay. The marina sits at the eastern end of Kings Bay, close to the town centre.
Practical
92 wet berths, vessels up to 80ft and 6ft draught. Shore power at 30 and 50 amp. Dry storage, live bait shop and a boat ramp. Office open 7am to 5pm, telephone 352 795-3302. Shops, restaurants and dive operators within walking distance.
Ashore
Three Sisters Springs and Hunter Springs lie within Kings Bay, both fed by warm 22 degree spring water that draws wintering manatees. Crystal River town centre with shops and dive shops is a short walk from the marina.
