Approach and anchoring
Reached through the marsh channels of the Ozello Keys, south-west of Crystal River. Outcrops that cover at high water break the surface at low water, so check NOAA tide data before entering. Manatee speed zones apply along the approach.
Practical
Boat ramp, dry boat storage, bait and tackle, boat parts, live shrimp and frozen bait. Fish cleaning tables on site. A small RV campground with waterfront cabins, each with a boat slip, 30 and 50 amp hookups and fresh water. Telephone 352 228-8095.
Ashore
Fishing charters work out of the marina for redfish, trout, snook, grouper and tarpon in season. Airboat wildlife tours and scalloping trips run from the same docks.
