Approach and anchoring

Approach from the bay past Concord Point. Floating docks in the Heron Harbor basin. River current runs strong after heavy rain and spring snowmelt.

Practical

Around 120 berths for boats from 17 to 62 feet, with transient space reported for vessels up to 200 feet. Pool, bath house and a marina store. Kayaks and water bikes for hire. Canvas and fibreglass repair on call.

Ashore

Historic Havre de Grace is a few minutes' walk away, with museums, antique shops and restaurants. Concord Point Lighthouse, dating from 1827, and the waterfront promenade lie just to the south.
