Guide

Approach and anchoring

From Herring Bay, enter Rockhold Creek through the marked channel past Drum Point. The creek is dredged but narrows quickly, so favour the centreline. Awarded Maryland Clean Marina status for three consecutive years.

Practical

Berths for sailing boats and powerboats up to 40 feet length and 13 feet beam. Shore power including 50 amp, pumpout, heads, showers, ice and grills. Wireless internet and cable on the piers.

Ashore

Deale village shops and restaurants within walking distance, including Skipper's Pier and Happy Harbor on the creek. Washington DC and Baltimore both reachable in under an hour by road.
