Approach and anchoring
Approach from the Intracoastal Waterway in Lake Worth Lagoon, north of the Flagler Memorial Bridge. The Lake Worth Inlet to the Atlantic lies about 2 nautical miles north. Watch the marked ICW channel; depths shoal outside the buoyed line.
Practical
34-berth marina with pontoons for sailing and motor yachts. Showers, heads and a clubhouse on site. Boat hoist for member dinghies. Visitor calls handled through the club office; non-members usually directed to Rybovich 0.2 nm south or Riviera Beach Municipal 1.2 nm north.
Ashore
Currie Park is next door with a playground and walking paths along the lagoon. Downtown West Palm Beach and Clematis Street restaurants lie about 1.5 nm south by water or a short cab ride. Palm Beach International Airport is roughly 4 miles inland.
History
The club was founded in 1966 and remains the only private sailing club in Palm Beach County, with adult and youth dinghy programmes and weekly racing on Lake Worth Lagoon.
