Approach and anchoring

Enter Lorain harbour east of the Lorain Lighthouse and follow the Black River south. Marina at 319 Black River Lane, downstream of the Charles Berry Bascule Bridge so no opening required for most vessels.

Practical

300 berths for boats up to 50 feet, water and shore power, pump-out stations across the marina. Fuel berth, ship store, restaurant, swimming pool, picnic area and playground. Kayak hire on site.

Ashore

Downtown Lorain within walking distance. Black River Landing event venue immediately adjacent. The Lorain Harbor Lighthouse, built in 1917 on the west breakwater, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
