Approach and anchoring
Enter Lorain harbour from Lake Erie east of the Lorain Lighthouse, head up the Black River and pass under the bascule bridge. Gene's is on the north bank at 200 to 220 East Erie Avenue, about 10 minutes by boat from the lighthouse.
Practical
Retail berths, outboard and stern-drive servicing. Chandlery with new and used parts going back to the 1950s. Family-owned since 1946.
