Approach and anchoring
Reached from Newport Harbour, entered between Goat Island and the waterfront. No tidal gate. The marina sits in the heart of the harbour, just inside the inner mooring fields.
Practical
Floating docks with composite decking, recently rebuilt. Berths take vessels up to 140 feet, transient or seasonal. Shore power at 30, 50 and 100 amp. Showers, laundry, wifi. Heated outdoor pool and grilling area. Restaurants and shops within walking distance.
Ashore
Thames Street with its shops and pubs runs alongside the marina. Bowen's and Bannister's wharves are a few minutes' walk. The Cliff Walk and the Bellevue Avenue Gilded Age mansions are about 2 km away.
