Guide
Approach and anchoring
Anchor in mud, which gives good holding. The bay is sheltered from winds between SW and N through W, leaving it open to the eastern half of the compass across the lake.
Practical
Monty's Bay Marina sits at the head of the bay, with 100 berths, transient docks and moorings for vessels up to 45 feet. Shore power, water, ice, showers, laundry, pump-out and a masting crane on site. Petrol and diesel at the fuel berth.
