Numerous drying rocks in the approaches. Use SHOM chart 7126 and navigate on rising tide with good visibility. The estuary of the Jaudy river to the south is buoyed as far as Tréguier. Exposed to N and E.
Practical
No services. Tréguier marina lies 4.8 nm S up the Jaudy river with 120 visitor berths, water, electricity and fuel. Port Blanc 5.2 nm W offers a drying harbour and anchorage behind Île Saint-Gildas.
History
Tréguier was one of the nine ancient bishoprics of Brittany. Its cathedral Saint-Tugdual dates from the 13th to 15th centuries and holds the tomb of Saint Yves, patron saint of lawyers.
