Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach at mid to high water, the bay dries well out at low water on spring tides. Sand bottom, good holding clear of the rocks on either side. Sheltered from SW through S to SE, fully open to the north toward Bréhat where any swell rolls in. Tidal range exceeds 10 m on springs, allow for scope accordingly.
Practical
Day anchorage only, no services. Île de Bréhat moorings 4.5 NM east, Lézardrieux marina 4.8 NM south up the Trieux for all-tide shelter, berths and services.
Ashore
GR34 sentier des douaniers follows the coast above the beach with views across the archipelago. Small shops in the nearest village inland.
