Guide
Approach and anchoring
Enter the Jaudy river off La Corne lighthouse, then follow the buoyed channel upriver. Drop anchor on mud in 3 to 6 metres on the neaps, taking care to stay clear of the fairway used by the Tréguier marina traffic. The tidal stream runs to 3 knots on springs.
Practical
Water tap available on the bank. No other services at the anchorage itself. Full facilities at Tréguier marina, 2.4 nautical miles to the south, including diesel, electricity and boatyard. Port Blanc gives a secondary shelter option 4.1 nautical miles west on the coast.
History
Tréguier was the seat of one of the nine historic bishoprics of Brittany. The Cathédrale Saint-Tugdual, built between the 13th and 15th centuries, dominates the skyline upstream of the anchorage and served as a landmark for sailors entering the Jaudy.
