Approach and anchoring

On the north side of Bogue Banks, off the Atlantic Beach causeway near ICW mile 204, with Beaufort Inlet about 3 miles east for ocean access. The basin is excavated from raised ground, which shelters berths from surge and strong winds. Vessels up to about 35 feet overall are accepted. Office on 252 726-4423.

Practical

Berths for resident and transient boats by the night, week or month, plus fuel and a ship store. A launch ramp is open to the public. Atlantic Beach shops, restaurants and the ocean beach are within walking distance across the island.
