Approach and anchoring
Megansett Harbour opens onto Buzzards Bay and is used as a temporary anchorage by boats waiting on the tide for the Cape Cod Canal. The club has 60 moorings and about 300ft of linear docks.
Practical
Founded in 2001, the club runs sailing instruction for members and their families. Long-term storage is available. Megansett public landing and beach sit alongside, with a paved boat ramp and a floating dinghy dock.
Story
The harbour fills with sailing dinghies through the summer season, the focus of the club's junior sailing programme.
