Bulkhead dock inside Mattituck Inlet on the north shore of Long Island, the only harbour between Port Jefferson and Greenport.

Approach and anchoring

Reached from Long Island Sound through Mattituck Inlet, a federal channel dredged to about 7ft, 100ft wide at the entrance and 80ft inside. The dock sits well up the creek where the water stays calm. A fuel berth lies next door.

Practical

Linear alongside berths with shore power and fresh water. No floating pontoons, this is a fixed bulkhead. Modern Yachts and Strong's Marine lie 1.4 to 1.8 miles up the creek to the south-east.
