Member-owned boat club on the north shore of Staten Island, on the Kill Van Kull between the Goethals and Bayonne bridges, a short run from New York Harbour.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approached from the Kill Van Kull, a busy commercial channel carrying cargo traffic to and from Newark Bay. Keep clear of shipping. Berthing is for members; visitors should contact the club ahead.
Practical
Around 50 berths with fresh water and shore power. On-site there is a hard standing for boats and trailers, a slipway, ice, heads and a fish cleaning station. No fuel berth.
History
The club has operated on this stretch of the Kill Van Kull since 1909 and is owned and run collectively by its members.
