Elizabeth Marina
- Type
- Harbour
Marina on the New Jersey bank of the Arthur Kill at Elizabethport, taking powerboats and jet skis only.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
The Arthur Kill is a tidal strait roughly 10 miles long joining Newark Bay to Raritan Bay. Tidal streams run hard along this stretch, so time the approach near slack water. The New Jersey bank is lined with industrial sites and the strait carries commercial shipping.
Practical
Berths are limited to motor boats and personal watercraft; no provision for sailing yachts. Elizabeth town centre is a short distance inland for provisions.
