Approach and anchoring
Mixed seabed of sand, rock and posidonia seagrass. Search for a clear sand patch before dropping the hook, as anchoring on posidonia is forbidden in Corsican waters and patrolled in summer. Shelter from N through E to SE. Exposed to the libeccio from the west, which builds a heavy swell along this coast.
Practical
No services at the marine. Centuri, 0.3 nm north, has a small fishing harbour with water and a few restaurants on the quay. Barcaggio, 3.6 nm NE at the tip of Cap Corse, offers another open anchorage.
Ashore
The hamlet of Morsiglia sits 1.5 km above the coast, with five Genoese towers built from the 16th century to watch for Barbary raiders. The Sentier des Douaniers coastal path links Centuri to Barcaggio along the Cap Corse cliffs.
