Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from the west along the Cap Corse shore. Sheltered from N, NE, E and SE winds, which are the prevailing tramontana and east breezes of the cape, fully open to the libeccio. Bottom of sand with even holding, drop the anchor in 4 to 8 m off the beach.
Practical
Forain anchorage with no services. Centuri lies 2.5 NM to the north and is the closest port for fuel and provisions. Macinaggio on the east coast is 4.7 NM to the northeast around the cape.
Ashore
The beach of Alisu is one of the only sand beaches on the west side of the cape and is reached by a dirt track from the D80 road. The sentier des douaniers, which runs the entire tip of Cap Corse from Macinaggio to Centuri, passes above the cove.
