Approach and anchoring
Boot Key Harbor is a sheltered basin entered from the Atlantic side, a long-standing hurricane hole for cruisers in the middle Keys. Of the 226 moorings, 211 take vessels up to 45 feet and 15 take vessels up to 60 feet.
Practical
Shore power at 30 and 50 amp, fresh water, WiFi and weekly pump-out included in the mooring fee. Restrooms, showers and a paying laundry. No fuel berth on site. Free dinghy dockage for mooring and canal customers, with loaner bikes available.
Ashore
Rotary Park and the Marathon Community Park sports complex sit next to the marina, with tennis courts, ball fields and walking paths. A Publix supermarket and a West Marine chandlery are a short dinghy or bike ride away.
