Tidal creek anchorage off the Atlantic ICW behind Isle of Palms, north-east of Charleston, South Carolina.

Guide

Approach and anchoring

Leave the ICW channel near marker 116 and feel your way into Long Creek with the tide. Mud bottom holds well. The creek runs in all directions, so it stays sheltered from wind on any heading, though tidal current sets hard through the narrows.

Practical

No facilities at the anchorage. Isle of Palms Marina lies 1.9 miles to the south-west with fuel, fresh water and a public ramp. Tolers Cove Marina is 6.3 miles to the south-west.
