Two-basin marina at Ruskin on the south-east shore of Tampa Bay, in service since the 1950s, with bridge-free access to the bay and the Gulf.
Guide
Approach and anchoring
Approach from Tampa Bay into a sheltered basin. The eastern marina holds floating concrete docks, the western marina fixed timber berths. No bridges or locks on the route to open water.
Practical
Each basin carries 99 berths for vessels up to 65 ft. An enclosed dry-stack building stores 205 boats from 18 to 46 ft. Transient berths are available.
Ashore
The Little Harbor and Bahia Beach resort sits next to the marina, with a half-mile beach, a beachfront restaurant and bar, and fishing charters from the same waterfront.
