Approach and anchoring
Sheltered approach off Tampa Bay through the Snell Isle waterways. The marina works around 40 berths for transient and rental use.
Practical
Fuel, marine supplies, maintenance and boat repair on site, with bilge and sewage pump-out. A small general store sits next to the Water Club condominiums. Boat hire and safety instruction classes are available. Office open Wednesday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, weekends 08:00 to 18:00. Owned and run by the St. Petersburg Yacht Club.
Ashore
The Snell Isle neighbourhood was laid out in the 1920s by developer C. Perry Snell, with Mediterranean Revival houses along the boulevard. Downtown St. Petersburg lies about 2 miles to the south-west.
