Approach and anchoring
Cabbage Creek winds inland through mangroves off the Little Manatee River mouth, south of Tampa. The surrounding mangroves and the creek shape give shelter from every direction. The mud bottom holds well.
Practical
Fresh water is available. Cabbage Creek Dock lies 0.4 nautical miles to the W and Little Harbor Marinas, in service since the 1950s with wet slips and dry storage, 0.4 nautical miles to the SW.
Ashore
The mangrove channels of Cabbage Creek are paddled by kayak and canoe from the Little Harbor shore. Little Harbor at Ruskin has a beach on Tampa Bay.
